Terms of use

The use of this PORTAL is subject to the terms set out below. By using the PORTAL, the visitor/user is presumed to have read, understood, and accepted all the terms of use. In case the visitor/user does not agree with the terms of use hereof, he/she must refrain from using the services and content of the PORTAL.

Intellectual property rights

All content on the PORTAL, except for the explicitly mentioned exceptions (third party copyrights), including - indicatively - texts, graphics, images, photographs, drawings, videos, sounds, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “content”) is the intellectual property of SenseOne and is protected by applicable national, Community and international law.

SenseOne retains all intellectual property rights in respect of the content and copies made on the basis thereof.

The content of the PORTAL is available to its visitors / users for personal use. Content may be modified  without notice at SenseOne's discretion. Upon acceptance of the terms of use, its non-commercial use and reproduction is permitted, in whole or in part, provided that the reproduced product is freely available thereafter via the Internet or other appropriate means and is accompanied by a clear and distinct reference to its source of origin. Any other use requires the express written permission of the owner or copyright holder.

The other products or services mentioned on the PORTAL bearing trademarks of their respective organizations, companies, collaborating bodies, associations or publications, are their own intellectual and industrial property and therefore these bodies retain the responsibility.

User behavior

The use of the PORTAL by users must operate within the framework set by law, good faith and morality ensuring their activities do not restrict or prevent others from using the PORTAL. The users of the PORTAL must comply with the rules and provisions of the Greek, European Union and relevant international treaties and refrain from any illegal and abusive behavior that may affect other users and cause damage/malfunction of the PORTAL. In case of illegal or contrary to these Terms and the applicable legal framework, the user is obliged to compensate the affected party for any damage suffered by the above actions.

These links have been placed solely for the convenience of visitors/users of the PORTAL, while the websites to which they refer are subject to the respective terms of use of these websites. The content of the PORTAL is available "as is" and SenseOne makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the completeness, correctness, timeliness, commerciality, non-infringement or suitability of such content for any use, application or purpose.

SenseOne, under any circumstances, including negligence, is not responsible for any form of damage suffered by the visitor / user of the pages, services, options, and contents of the website to which he/she proceeds on his/her own initiative and with the knowledge of these terms. Also, SenseOne does not guarantee that the pages, services, options and contents will be provided without interruption, without errors, that errors will be corrected or that all questions posed to it will be answered. Similarly, SenseOne does not guarantee that the PORTAL or any other related website or servers through which the content is made available to visitors/users are provided without "viruses" or other harmful components. The cost of any corrections or services is borne by the visitor / user and in no case by SenseOne.

Security of the Portal

Access to the website is provided at the initiative of the visitor/user and not of SenseOne.

SenseOne, with respect to personal data, complies with the GDPR in the context of its activity and purpose and takes the technical and organizational measures provided for the effective protection of personal data, as provided for in the GDPR and the Greek legislation by extension.

Applicable Law – Other Terms

The above terms and conditions of use of the PORTAL, as well as any modification or change thereof, are governed by national law, Community law and relevant international treaties. Any provision of the above terms is found to be contrary to the above legal framework or becomes invalid, automatically ceases to apply and is removed from the present, without in any way affecting the validity of the other terms. This constitutes the entire agreement between the administrator of the PORTAL and the visitor / user of its pages and services and binds only them. No modification of these terms will be taken into account and will not be part of this agreement unless it has been formulated in writing and has not been incorporated into it.

It is hereby expressly agreed that any disputes that may arise from the application of these terms and the general use of the PORTAL by the visitor or user thereof, if not resolved amicably, are governed by Greek law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens.
